Panasonic AW-UE200/AW-UER200

Capture the action with less distortion and control framing remotely.

Panasonic’s new PTZ camera series combine global shutter technology with different movement and connectivity options for your production system.

Aw Ue200 Aw Uer200

The Panasonic AW-UE200 and AW-UER200 series were developed for remote video capture in broadcast productions and live events. The 5K MOS sensor with global shutter helps preserve the shape of moving objects, while the 22x optical zoom allows you to adjust framing from a fixed camera position.

The range includes four models. The AW-UE200 and AW-UE210 prioritise pan and tilt speed. The AW-UER200 and AW-UER210 add a rotational axis, or roll, to create camera movements and work with horizontal and vertical formats.

For productions using SMPTE ST 2110 or Dante audio, the AW-UE210 and AW-UER210 feature these technologies as standard.

Main features

5K MOS sensor with global shutter

Capture images with less motion distortion and generate 4K video through sensor oversampling.

22x optical zoom

A lens with a horizontal viewing angle of approximately 80° at its widest setting, allowing you to move from wide shots to close-ups.

Movement tailored to your production

Faster pan/tilt on the UE200/UE210 and a roll axis on the UER200/UER210.

Built-in AI auto framing

Automatic subject tracking and composition control, with the option for operator intervention.

Connections for SDI and IP production

12G-SDI, 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs, alongside NDI High Bandwidth and SRT. The 210 versions add ST 2110 and Dante.

Main benefits

Preserve shapes in motion

Reduce rolling shutter distortion when the camera or subject moves quickly.

More framing options from the same position

Adjust scene coverage using the zoom, reducing the need to reposition the camera.

Fewer manual framing adjustments

Auto framing helps keep the subject in the shot during production.

Content for different formats with the UER family

Produce horizontal and vertical outputs from a single camera.

A choice that fits your infrastructure

Select the combination of movement and connectivity that meets your project’s requirements.

Frame your next production

Need to follow fast action, add rolling movements or integrate cameras into an ST 2110 infrastructure? GTC helps you choose the model and plan its integration into your production system.

Comprehensive Support for Standard Protocols, Ready for Streaming and a Wide Range of Production Applications

The AW-UER200W/K and AW-UER210W/K support a wide range of standard protocols, including NDI® High Bandwidth, SRT, FreeD, and OpenTrackIO, enabling seamless integration with virtually any production environment or system.

It can be easily incorporated into existing systems and adapts flexibly to a wide variety of production applications. Even in live event and streaming environments with minimal crews, no protocol conversion hardware is required, helping reduce operational complexity and workload.

Other features

  • Mos Sensor Img
5K 1.2-type Global Shutter MOS Sensor
The AW-UE200W/K and AW-UE210W/K feature the industry's first* 1.2-type 5K MOS sensor with a global shutter in a PTZ camera. It delivers natural, low-distortion, low-flicker images for studio productions using LED walls, live events with dynamic lighting effects, and sports broadcasting. In addition, 5K oversampling produces stunningly detailed 4K video, faithfully reproducing the texture and fine details of every subject.
  • Zoom Lens Img
Newly Developed Ultra-Fast Zoom Lens with an 80° Wide Angle and 22x Optical Zoom
Supports 22x optical zoom* and variable zoom speeds ranging from an ultra-fast approximately 0.5 seconds from telephoto to wide to a maximum of 180 seconds, enabling smooth, expressive zooms tailored to each scene and creative intent.
The approximately 80° horizontal viewing angle also provides wide coverage, making it easy to capture the entire scene in confined installation spaces.
  • Auto Framing Img
Built-in Auto Framing Automatically Recreates Your Intended Composition
The built-in AI-based Auto Framing function automatically tracks subjects and maintains the desired composition with high precision, all within the camera itself. It supports stable video production in dynamic environments, such as studio productions, live events, and sports, where subjects move quickly or cross paths. During operation, users can seamlessly switch between fully automatic and semi-automatic modes, allowing for fine composition adjustments and the flexibility to adapt to the needs of any production. In addition, by leveraging Media Production Suite, users can streamline multi-camera workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • One Touch Adjustment Img
One-Touch Horizon Adjustment and Automatic Horizon Leveling
The AW-UER200/UER210 features one-touch horizon adjustment, enabling quick and easy camera leveling during setup. Even in challenging installation environments, such as cranes or angled ceilings, it helps ensure fast, smooth deployment. It also includes automatic horizon leveling to maintain a level image during operation, significantly reducing the need for manual horizon adjustments from setup through production.
  • Simultaneous Output Img
    Simultaneous 16:9 and 9:16 Output
The AW-UER200/UER210 supports rotation output using its built-in roll mechanism. By cropping vertical video from the camera's full sensor image, it can simultaneously output both a standard 16:9 feed and a 9:16 vertical feed. This provides the flexibility to create content for social media streaming and vertical LED walls while enabling efficient multi-format production from a single camera.
